Bridge Set.

Building a miniature bridge set for fourth book on model making.

In the fourth book, my characters head out into space in their starship. This is the clunky bridge set for the story. It had to be large to get all the characters in as well as the camera and lights.

It was all made out of flat sheet MDF with all walls and ceiling floating so I could take out sections to get the camera in.

The chair and platform was all styrene sheet and kit parts with a large selection of electronic components and old camera parts.

The consoles were styrene and wood covered in tiny computer buttons and parts with camera internals for screens. I wanted the consoles to be well over the top with buttons and controls.
